The University of Basra held a seminar on "Water Resources and Drought in Light of Climate Change." Organized by the College of Education at the University of Basra, the seminar aimed to highlight the phenomenon of climate change, its historical and economic impacts, and the university's capacity to address it despite the challenges it presents. The seminar also emphasized the role of the university in disseminating environmental knowledge and fostering a culture of sustainability among future generations. The seminar featured presentations by Professor Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Jassim, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Ali Diwan, Professor Dr. Ali Nasser Abdullah, and Ms. Zainab Saeb Abdullah.
