Dr. Hussein Abdul Kareem Younis, a faculty member at the College of Education for Women, University of Basrah, has been selected as a scientific reviewer for the Egyptian Informatics Journal and Social Sciences & Humanities Open, both of which are ranked in the first quartile (Q1) and indexed in Scopus and Clarivate.

Dr. Younis explained that the two journals specialize in publishing high-quality research in the fields of computer science and artificial intelligence, with a strong emphasis on scientifically rigorous and technically sound studies that contribute new knowledge of value to the scientific and engineering communities.

He also noted that both journals are published by Elsevier, one of the world's leading academic publishing companies, based in the Netherlands.
