Dr. Abbas Qasim Attiyah, of the Department of History, has published a book titled *The Holy Quran and Italian Orientalism: Reality and Ideological Orientation*.The book addresses a range of significant issues regarding Italian Orientalism, discussing Italian Orientalists' perspectives on divine revelation and the source of the Holy Quran, as well as the history of printing the Quran in Italy and its translation by Orientalists.It also sheds light on their interpretations of the Quranic text and analyzes the meanings and connotations of the names of Surahs and verses in the context of their intellectual frameworks.The book was published by the Islamic Center for Strategic Studies at the Al-Abbas's Holy Shrine as part of the "Quran in Western Studies" series.
