A lecturer at Basra University Participates with a Scientific Research in a Joint International  Conference between Remar Academy and the Turkish University of Harran.

The lecturer, Dr. Amal Muhammad Abdul-Karim, at the College of Education  for Women,  participated in the first Remar conference held by the Remar Academy in cooperation with the Turkish University of Harran with her research entitled “Textual Tools of the Poets of Mahjar: Rashid Ayyub as an Example”. The conference  aims at increasing  the scientific communication  between the researchers from various  countries of the world and to benefit from their experiences and their valuable reserches. The participation included a study of the textual tools used by the poets of Mahjar, in particular Rashid Ayyub,  nicknamed the “complaining” or “dervish” poet. The researcher showed the types of tools that appeared in his poetry and their diversity by linking them with each other and achieving textual coherence and harmony which increased the splendour and beauty of the poetic verses achieved by the diversity  of  tools.

The researcher called for the attention for such conferences and increasing the opportunities of holding them due to their scientific value. Moreover, such conferences raise the researcher's scientific value through his/her communication with other researchers from different countries.
