The College of Education for Girls at the University of Basra organized an electronic symposium on the Arab-Israeli conflict.
The seminar, which was held by the History Department, included three themes:
The first topic, presented by Professor Ziad Khalil Salem from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, dealt with the history of the Arab-Israeli conflict, which is fundamentally linked to the emergence of Zionism and Jewish immigration to Palestine and settlement there.
And the second topic, presented by Dr. Ammar Fadel from the College of Education for Girls, University of Basra, in which he reviewed the causes and repercussions of the recent Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip.
As for the third and final topic, it was presented by Dr. Muntaha Sabri from the College of Education for Girls, University of Basra, in which she addressed the international accord and its impact on the Arab-Israeli conflict in 1969-1976.
