Basra University organizes an electronic lecture on the approach between media and peace

 The College of Education for Women at the

University of Basra organized an electronic lecture

entitled An Approach between Media and Peace in

the Light of Sustainable Community Development

 The lecture presented by the human development

coach, Mr. Ali Al-Madhoush, dealt with the media as

the most important tool in the field of influence,

marketing, domination and colonialism.  Because

the picture is a visual discourse capable of sending

many cultural messages and social values ​​without

the need for any linguistic accompaniment.

 Al-Madhoush added that the great uprooting effect

of the media and the image is supposed to pay

attention to it, pay attention to it, believe in its

importance and impact, and work hard to raise it to a

level that equals and competes with the other who

made great strides in it.

 The lecture concluded that God Almighty has

indicated in the Holy Qur’an to the urge to prepare in

life and confrontation in proportion to the strength

and preparation of the competing other in His

saying: (Prepare for them whatever strength you

can), meaning that the preparation is supposed to

be for others and not for ourselves until the media

rise and achieve the peace that they hope for us  

everybody.
