University of Basra honors its outstanding students

 The College of Education for Women at the University of Basra honored its outstanding student in a special ceremony held for that.

 The honoring ceremony, which was held at Al-Zahraa Hall and attended by Dr. Zaki Abdullah, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, included the recitation of verses from the Noble Qur’an, the reading of Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs and listening to the national anthem.

 As part of the ceremony, Dr. Abdul Wahed Al-Mansoori, Dean of the College, delivered a speech in which he congratulated the students on their excellence, and urged them to give more and excel, which would increase their scientific balance and create a spirit of competition among them.

 After that, the assistant president of the university for scientific affairs and the dean of the college presented gifts of excellence to the students with the heads of scientific departments.
