A lecturer at University of Basra participates in the Third International Conference on Humanities held in Iran
The female lecturer at the College of Education for Women at the University of Basra, Dr. Alaa Abdul-Imam, participated in the Third International Conference on Human Sciences in Iran
The participation included presenting her research in the English language specializing in the tagged "tonal patterns of expressions of generosity and welcome in the Iraqi dialect: an audio study".
The researcher highlighted in it that men and women use ascending and descending tones in expressions of generosity and welcome in the Iraqi dialect, as women, especially of average learning, tend to use ascending tones more than men. ) by adding some tones to refer to the tones used in the Iraqi visual dialect.
