Basra University organizes a lecture on the Quran and Quranic readings.
The College of Education for Women at the University of Basra organized an electronic lecture entitled “The Qur’an and Qur’anic Recitations: One fact or two truths.”
The lecture presented by Dr. Habib Abdullah Al-Falah, the lecturer in the Department of Arabic Language, dealt with the Holy Qur’an and Qur’anic readings and the difference in the words of revelation in their writing or how they are pronounced, such as lightening and weighting, and others.
He added that the Holy Qur’an and the Qur’anic readings are two different realities, so there is no conflict between the frequency of the Holy Qur’an and the lack of frequency of Qur’anic readings.
