A lecturer at the University of Basra participates in a symposium on the unseen texts in the Noble Qur’an
The lecturer at the College of Education for Women at University of Basra, Abbas Kassim Attia, participated in a symposium entitled “The Unseen Texts in the Holy Qur’an and Their Historical Employment in the Age of the Message,” which was held by the Great Prophet Center of the Abbasid Shrine.
The participation included introducing the concept of the unseen in the Qur’anic text, the meaning of which is that God Almighty has provided us with unseen texts from which we can inquire into the past, and we would not have knowledge of them if the Holy Qur’an had not mentioned them, as well as metaphysical texts through which we look forward to the future.
The aim of the symposium is that the Holy Qur’an bears several facets and possesses an independent dimension and understanding.
