Basra University organizes a symposium on the International Day for Peace and Tolerance

 The College of Education for Girls at the University of Basra organized an electronic awareness seminar on the International Day of Peace and Tolerance.

 The symposium aimed to spread the principle of peace and the spirit of tolerance among the groups of society, and to renounce bad customs and traditions that are alien to Iraqi society.

 The symposium, which was attended by Dr. Faisal Abdul Munshid and Dr. Hana Abdul-Nabi Al-Abadi from the Department of Educational Sciences, included two axes: The first, which was presented by Dr. Faisal Abdul Munshid, addressed dialogue and tolerance, referring to the culture of dialogue that should prevail in our society, starting with the family, school, educational and educational institutions, and educating individuals.  On tolerance as a positive trait in the personality, and stressed the role of religious values ​​in consolidating the values ​​of tolerance, kindness and love in light of the change that has become hypothetical and reduced closeness, support and synergy.

 The second axis, presented by Dr. Hana Abdulnabi Al-Abadi, touched on accepting cultures, turning the pages of strife, and focusing on consolidating religious and positive values ​​in the personality of the individual since his early childhood, by teaching him to renounce violence and instill in him the ability to love, kindness and mercy.
