University of Basrah organizes a lecture on measures of central tendency
 The College of Education for Women at the University of Basrah organized an electronic lecture on measures of central tendency.
 The lecture, which was moderated by the assistant lecturer Saif Moataz, the Continuing Education Officer, and presented by the assistant lecturer Nidaa Qassem Muhammad, from the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, dealt with the concept of central tendency, which means the tendency of vocabulary or observations towards concentration or gathering around a certain numerical value in the distribution, and therefore this value that is centered around  The data is representative of the rest of the values ​​and a means of describing the data and showing the important characteristics of the phenomenon that the researcher aims to study.
 The lecture touched on the fact that there are many measures for measuring the central tendency of data about events or phenomena, and the most important of these measures are the arithmetic mean, median, and mode.
