A counseling seminar in the College of Education for Girls for first-year students in the Department of History

The Psychological Counseling Unit in the College of Education for Girls held counseling seminars for first-stage students within the activities of the unit and its role in spreading academic, educational and cultural awareness
Where a meeting was held with the students of the first stage in the Department of History, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hana Abd al-Nabi al-Abadi, responsible for the psychological and educational counseling unit, and Assistant Professor Muntaha Sabri Mawla, responsible for the History Department in the Counseling Unit.
During the meeting, several issues were discussed, including receiving and welcoming the female students, congratulating them on the new academic year, introducing them to the university system and its difference as a transitional stage between middle school and university, and clarifying the regulations, regulations, laws, and instructions related to working hours, uniforms, and respect for professors and administrative bodies.
They were also introduced to the counseling unit and its role in solving students’ problems, holding periodic monthly meetings with the students, and presenting the most important difficulties and obstacles they face in all psychological, social, educational and emotional fields.
The students presented a number of problems that they suffer from, especially the study schedule that lasts until 2:30, the lack of suitable halls, and the regular and sick leave that they need. The problems were listened to and will be considered to find solutions by the counseling unit and the department.
