A master's thesis was discussed at the University of Basra, College of Education for Girls, entitled The Russian Peasant during the Tsarist Era (1547-1917) by the student Khawla Abd al-Shahid Nasir al-Mudayris
The thesis, which was divided into four chapters, included the first chapter dealing with the Russian peasant between the hammer of reform and the anvil of the revolution 1547-1725, the second chapter dealing with the conditions of the Russian peasant in the time period 1725-1855, the third chapter dealing with the Russian peasant in the period 1855-1917, and the fourth chapter dealing with Migrations of Russian peasants and their economic and social effects
The study concluded that the Russian society is divided into multiple states and social classes, so the lowest class was the peasants, and their exploitation increased more and more because of the rural officials (the mayor), and the peasant was living in a state of slavery, and it gradually transformed until the farmer became a slave to be sold And he buys with his family the land owned by the owners of the land
