The Dean of the College of Education for Girls, Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Abd Al-Imam Al-Riahi, and the assistant dean for scientific and administrative affairs in the college participated in the ceremony of hoisting the Husseini flag coming from the holy Karbala, marking the start of the holy month of Muharram, the month of reform.
“I did not go out to be evil, arrogant, corrupt, or unjust, but rather I went out to seek reform in the nation of my grandfather, the Messenger of God. The dean of the college said on this occasion
The anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein bin Ali, peace be upon them both, is not just a historical event, but rather a symbol of strength, steadfastness and sacrifice. Imam Hussein bin Ali fought for truth, justice and reform in an oppressive, tyrannical society, and proved that lofty Islamic values require struggle and sacrifice in order to achieve them. Let us all work to be the offspring of Hussein in our values, actions and behavior. And let us always remember that truth and justice do not die, and that truth will always triumph in the end.
Peace be upon Al-Hussein, Ali bin Al-Hussein, the children of Al-Hussein, and the companions of Al-Hussein.
Peace, mercy and blessings of God
