Female teachers from the College of Education for Girls participated in a symposium on the legal and social rights of children in conflict with the law as part of the project to support childhood and address the negative phenomena carried out by children.
The symposium was attended by Professor Dr. Amal Mahdi Jabr, who is responsible for women’s empowerment in the College of Education for Girls, Professor Dr. Hana Abdelnabi Al-Abadi, who is responsible for the guidance unit in the college, and Assistant Professor Rafif Abdel Hafez Al-Riahi, who is responsible for the continuing education unit in the college.
Many topics were discussed about establishing a law to protect children in society and confronting the negative phenomena that spray children and turn them into delinquents in society.
It was agreed to hold subsequent seminars and meetings to begin a project to protect children from delinquency through awareness and guidance, and to develop preventive and therapeutic programs to address moral and social issues, reduce the problems that lead to crime, and bring children to a place of safety, enjoy a happy life, and enjoy psychological health.
