The University of Basra organizes a symposium on psychological and educational preparation for female students

The College of Education for Girls at the University of Basra organized a symposium on psychological preparation entitled Psychological and Educational Preparation for Students of the College of Education for Girls, presented by Dr. Rafif Abdul Hafez Al-Riahi, head of the Continuing Education Unit and teaching assistant Maysaa Sabri, in cooperation from the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences.

The symposium aimed to learn about the differences between school life and university life, what the university achieves for us, the difference between a university professor and a male teacher, as well as the standards of a healthy relationship between a teacher and students and the relationship between female students themselves.

The symposium included identifying the psychological pressures that lead to the causes of university failure and what steps must be followed to reduce psychological pressure, psychological preparation, and health and physical preparation.

The symposium recommended the role of the family in preparing its children for study and what are the ideas, beliefs and perceptions that the student must use to prepare psychologically for the start of the new academic year.
