
A seminar at the University of Basra on the impact of job satisfaction on employees’ job performance
The Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education for Girls organized a discussion session that included the impact of job satisfaction on the job performance of employees, presented by the teaching staff, Maysaa Abdel Hussein Khalaf.
The seminar aimed to identify the concept of job satisfaction, the most important factors influencing the achievement and failure to achieve job satisfaction for the worker, employee, or teacher, and the most prominent theories that explained it.
The seminar discussed the impact of job satisfaction on employees in all sectors in general, identifying ways to measure it and its positive and negative aspects that directly affect the lives of the individual and society, as well as identifying ways to increase employee job satisfaction.
The panel discussion recommended achieving equality and justice among employees, paying attention to their human side, and appropriate workplaces to raise the level of job satisfaction for employees, which is reflected positively in the level of achievement, commitment, and loyalty to the profession.
