University of Basra organizes a scientific visit to the Al-Amal Institute for the Deaf and Dumb.

The Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education for Girls organized a scientific visit to the Al Amal Institute for the Deaf and Mute within the subject of special education and psychological counseling.

During the visit, the Director of the Institute, Wafaa Hussein Odeh, provided a brief explanation about the Institute, including the beginning of its establishment, the type of special needs that the Institute receives, the curricula that are taught, and methods of dealing with deaf and mute people.

The visit included inspection of the kindergarten, first and second grades of primary school, and the first intermediate grade, which has been created currently, and at the end of the visit, gifts were distributed to them.
