Basra University publishes a book on revenge in the Umayyad era
 
Published for Buthaina Adel Omran Al-Zubaidi, a Lecturer at the College of Education for Women University of Basra a book on revenge in the Umayyad era.

 The book was contained (248) pages, and in four chapters, the first chapter dealt the concept of revenge and its historical roots and practices in early Islam, the second chapter about the revenge of some of the Umayyad rulers against their opponents and dissentings, and the third chapter contained tribal revenges, while the fourth chapter included revenge  Of the men unfair Umayyad authority and their aides.

 The book aims to clarify the topic of revenge, which is one of the social phenomena that founded traces in the Arab society before Islam, and the continuation of this practice in Islamic times despite the foundations laid by Islam and the prohibition on revenge.
