Issuance of a book by a lecturer at the University of Basra on “Urban Land Uses between Theory and Practice”

 

A book entitled "Urban Land Uses between Theory and Application" was issued by a lecturer at the College of Education for Girls - University of Basra, Asst. Prof. Dr. Murtada Muzaffar Sahar Al-Kaabi

The book contains (372) pages, distributed over (12) chapters


The book deals with a comprehensive study in a theoretical and applied manner on urban land uses and their indicators and standards in urban cities, considering that urban land uses are a branch of human geography, as the process of organizing land uses and distributing urban activities in cities is one of the most important main requirements of the place.

     The book includes (twelve chapters) containing the main urban land uses, which are: (the geography of cities and their relationship to the geography of the population, theories of the internal structure of cities, residential use, commercial use, industrial use, and service land uses, including: urban transportation, educational services, health services, administrative and religious services, entertainment services and city space, and the problems facing researchers in urban geography)
