University of Basra organizes a seminar on "The Speicher massacre and the psychological effects it left on Iraqi society".

 

The College of Education for Girls organized a seminar on "The Speicher massacre and the psychological effects it left on Iraqi society". Based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Deanship of the College of Education for Girls.

The seminar aimed to clarify the psychological effects left by the Speicher massacre on Iraqi society, as it is considered one of the most tragic events that shook Iraq. The terrorist group ISIS brutally executed about 1,700 Iraqi military students.

The seminar, which was lectured by Dr. Issa Saad Issa, included introducing and educating the students about the events of this massacre that took place in June 2014 in Tikrit. This massacre was a deep psychological shock not only to the families of the victims but to the entire Iraqi society.
