University of Basra organizes a visit to Al-Kafeel Institute for Speech and School Rehabilitation" affiliated to the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

 

The College of Education for Girls organized a visit to Al-Kafeel Institute for Speech and School Rehabilitation" affiliated to the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine after obtaining the approval of the Deputy Secretary-General of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

The lecturer, Mutab Abdul-Hussein Al-Rikabi, from the College of Education for Girls, visited the institute's site and viewed the classes for speech training and many methods that suit children with speech and language disorders.

This visit aimed to discuss cooperation with the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and Al-Kafeel Institute for Speech and School Rehabilitation to provide appropriate services in the field of working with people with special needs, given their knowledge and expertise in this field. And planning to establish a special center for people with special needs in cooperation with these supporting bodies by providing advisory services to families of children with special needs. Evaluation and appropriate diagnosis of children's condition and providing courses and workshops for staff working with children with special needs in autism centers as well as schools of the Basra Education Directorate that contain special education classes, and also the Department of Labor and Social Affairs as it sponsors this segment of society. With the activation of field visits to centers for people with special needs in order to learn about their practical experiences in this field. And openness to private centers in order to provide them with graduates from our college.
