
University of Basra Organizes a Training Workshop Titled "Student and Professor Rights and the Rights of People with Disabilities within the University Environment"
The College of Education for Women at the University of Basra organized an awareness workshop titled "Student and Professor Rights and the Rights of People with Disabilities within the University Environment," in cooperation with Multaqa al-Nahrain Private College. The workshop targeted students from Multaqa al-Nahrain College.
The workshop aimed to enhance students' awareness of their rights and the rights of their professors within the university environment, in addition to highlighting the rights of people with disabilities. This is within the framework of consolidating the principles of justice and equality and creating an inclusive and stimulating educational environment for all.
The workshop, presented by lecturer Mutab Abdul-Hussein, included a comprehensive introductory lecture on student and professor rights on campus. She focused on the importance of awareness of academic and human rights, which contributes to creating a university environment based on respect and mutual understanding.
Instructor Baidaa Daoud addressed the rights of people with disabilities within the college and the need to provide an inclusive educational environment that ensures equal opportunities and addresses the needs of this important segment of society.
