The College of Education for Women at Basra University organized an electronic lecture on religious coexistence between Islam and Christianity
The lecture presented by the lechurer in the history department, Doaa Adnan, with a number of female students, included several axes, including the Islamic view of the Christian religion, Christ (PBUH) in the Islamic heritage, the common values between the two religions, as well as the relationship of Christianity with the family of al-Bayt (PBUH).
She also dealt with Christian poetry and his praise of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The lecture also dealt with the Pope’s visit to Iraq and his meeting with Mr. Sistani and the comparative aspects of the statement issued by both parties.
The lecture was attended by Dr. Alaa Abdel-Imam Al-Riahi, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and Dr. Sabih Nuri Al-Halfi, Head of the History Department.
