A lecturer at the College of Education for

Women presents a workshop on verbal and

non-verbal communication

The workshop, presented by Dr. Refaat

Abdullah Jassim from the Department of

Educational and Psychological Sciences,

dealt with an explanation of the types and

forms of communication, methods of

overcoming obstacles and the competencies

that teachers must have to succeed in the

teaching profession.

The workshop called for attention to the

preparation of the teaching staff at the

psychological, personal, social and moral

levels, since teaching is one of the

professions that requires a set of moral and

personal competencies, and that obtaining

the highest scientific ranks and academic

certificates is not sufficient in itself or

qualified to practice the teaching process.
